Knowledge Engineer vacancy for a globally operating Basel based company in the Pharma sector.

Your tasks:

• Collaborating with product teams to develop and integrate data models and ensure FAIR data services within the product portfolio
• Co-driving projects with engineering and business teams to implement interoperability standards for devices and digital products
• Investigating new methods to derive business insights from interlinked data sources, enhancing digital product features
• Promoting the adoption of interoperability standards, including terminological resources like FHIR, HL7v2, LOINC, and SNOMED
• Engaging with internal stakeholders to identify business needs and pain points using a customer-centric approach
• Creating and refining solutions through prototypes and MVPs

Your experience/knowledge:

• 3+ years of professional experience in data interoperability with expertise in data interoperability technologies, including data integration, standards, and terminologies
• Advanced software engineering skills in Python and Java
• In-depth knowledge of data management methodologies, relational and graph databases
• Knowledge of Front End programming languages, such as TypeScript and Angular, as well as familiarity with data engineering and cloud technologies, is advantageous
• University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Architecture, Data Science, Mathematics, or Bioinformatics
• Language skills: English - fluent verbally and in written
