A Quality Assurance (QA) expert is required for a specialist college, residential care provider and Centre of Excellence for Autism in Nottinghamshire. The college provides a wide and diverse range of services to people with disabilities and mental health issues. The Head of Quality Assurance will have a key operational role leading all aspects of QA, managing a team and advising Governors, Senior Managers and Departmental Managers on internal QA processes and compliance.
Key Responsibilities;
* Lead and further develop an annual cycle of QA activity across the Charity Group.
* Lead a team of staff who deliver QA activity, staff coaching and manage concerns and complaints.
* Provide accurate and coherent reports and summaries of QA activity to internal and external stakeholders.
* Interpret new or updated legislation, statutory guidance and regulations, guidance and best practice advice to inform QA processes and check compliance.
* Undertake specific project work such as root cause analysis, investigation of critical incidents and report and make recommendations in a timely manner.
* Actively contribute to related processes such as Self-Assessment Reporting and Quality Improvement Plans
* Sustain and enhance key relationships with external stakeholders and third-party providers.
* Review and develop selected Policies and Procedures and lead staff by example in adhering to all Policies and Procedures.
The successful candidate will hold a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care, with experience of management in a regulated adult care environment. Ideally this will be a CQC (Care Quality Commission) inspection role, an expert by experience or similar experience of service audit. You will have knowledge of operational QA or compliance audit, CQC Regulations, Standards, Key Lines of Enquiry and GDPR (General Data Protection Regulations).
A natural team leader, you will have excellent communication skills, able to analyse data and develop action plans for quality improvement. A driving licence and access to a car is essential for this role.
