Job Title: Data Centre Shift Leader

Are you an experienced engineer skilled in critical facilities and data center operations? Do you excel in a fast-paced environment where technical expertise and leadership are key? We are seeking a Data Centre Shift Leader to join our team and manage the safe and efficient operation of our data center infrastructure.

The Role:

As a Data Centre Shift Leader, you will lead a team of engineers on a 24/7 shift pattern to ensure the smooth operation, maintenance, and risk management of critical data center systems. You will be responsible for coordinating day-to-day technical maintenance activities, overseeing subcontractors, and ensuring compliance with all safety and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the engineering shift team to deliver high-quality service and ensure safety compliance.
Operate and maintain M&E systems, including HV Electrical systems, with a focus on efficiency and risk management.
Act as the Authorized Person for 11kV Electrical Systems, managing Permits to Work (PTW).
Oversee subcontractor work, ensuring it aligns with client requirements and Standard Operating Procedures.
Ensure accurate reporting of completed tasks and maintain stock levels of critical spares.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement, safety awareness, and operational excellence.

What We're Looking For:

5+ years of experience in data center or critical environment operations.
HV Authorized Person qualification.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage a team effectively.
Proactive approach with a high level of initiative and attention to detail.
