We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead Process Engineer to join our team and drive innovation, efficiency, and optimization in our chemical manufacturing processes. What You’ll Do:
Lead Engineering Support: Provide expert process engineering support for ongoing production and introduce new processes to enhance performance and optimize utilization.
Drive Process Improvement Projects: Take ownership of small to large-scale projects, managing scope, schedule, and cost to ensure successful outcomes that improve productivity, safety, and efficiency.
Root Cause Analysis: Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) processes and follow through with implementing recommendations that solve critical issues and prevent future occurrences.
Data-Driven Decision Making: Generate and analyze utilization reports for equipment and identify continuous improvement opportunities, performing cost studies and economic evaluations to maximize throughput, quality, and safety.
Optimize Equipment Performance: Monitor and optimize the performance of process equipment, ensuring it meets production commitments efficiently. Collaborate across departments to implement improvement projects that enhance plant profitability.
Equipment Reliability: Be a champion for reliability by identifying and resolving equipment and process issues, conducting life cycle cost analyses, and recommending design improvements to eliminate system malfunctions.
Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with maintenance, operations, and engineering teams to develop solutions, train on new technologies, and plan turnaround initiatives.
Lead Turnaround Efforts: Provide critical leadership during turnaround planning and assist with execution to minimize downtime and enhance long-term plant performance.
Requirements
What We’re Looking For:
Experience: 6-12 years of solid process engineering experience in a chemical manufacturing environment.
Expertise: Strong background in process improvement, equipment optimization, and troubleshooting in a production setting. Familiarity with Siemens DCS, PLCs, and equipment reliability practices is a plus.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering (ChE) is required.
Problem-Solving: Proven ability to identify and resolve complex process and equipment issues, offering innovative solutions that improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Leadership: Demonstrated ability to manage projects, lead cross-functional teams, and drive engineering excellence within the organization.
