2020 Recruitment are delighted to be working with our new international engineering client who is looking to add an HGV Class 1 Driver to their team in Belfast on an initial 6-month contract.

As part of this assignment, there will also be an opportunity to train on Cryo.

Work schedule:

Monday to Friday 8:00 – 16:30, working a total of 40 hours per week.

The Role

The role requires drivers to deliver products safely in accordance with all legal requirements and own safe working procedures throughout the UK.

The candidate must be able to communicate at a good level, with both colleagues and customers and they must also be flexible and ready to play an active part in maintaining the Company's strict adherence to health and safety regulations. There will be the requirement to work various shifts. Full training will be given including company policies, procedures and systems.

Skills & Experience Required

To be considered for the HGV Class 1 Driver role you must have the following skills & experience:

* HGV class 1 (must have held the licence for a minimum of 3 years)

* ADR Licence (Packages minimum class 2 and 3)

* Driver Certificate of Professional Competence

* Forklift Licence (preferred, but not essential)

* Literacy in PC and mobile devices

* Knowledge of local areas

* Yard duties will be included.

* Excellent communication skills both face to face and over the phone

* Strong focus on safety and strong adherence to company procedures

* Flexibility

* Able to work under own initiative
