We are excited to present an opportunity for an experienced Learning Support Mentor to join one of the leading colleges in Cambridgeshire. This vital role focuses on supporting SEND learners within the construction department, ensuring they receive the personalised support needed to excel academically.

Jobs available:

Temporary- £13.50 + 12.07% holiday pay per hour

LSM – Health and Personal Care. Monday, Tuesday and Thursday

LSM Mainstream Learners, Construction department – full time

LSM Mainstream Learners, Construction department – full time

LSM Mainstream Learners, Computing department – Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday

Permanent- £18,913.83 - £19,387.34 per annum term time only (FTE £ 22,169 - 22,724 per annum)

LSM Mainstream Learners, Construction department – full time

LSM Mainstream Learners, Various departments - full or part time

Key Responsibilities:

Provide tailored one-to-one and group support to students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
Develop and implement effective learning strategies tailored to individual needs.
Collaborate with faculty to integrate supportive measures into the curriculum.
Monitor and report on student progress, adapting strategies as needed
Requirements:

GCSE Maths and English, minimum grade C or Level 2 equivalent.
Demonstrated experience in supporting SEND learners.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of working effectively with students, staff, and parents.
Experience as a Learning Support Mentor or similar role is highly desirable. Temp Benefits:
