Job Title: Accounts Semi-Senior

Salary: £24,000 - £30,000 (dependent on experience)

The Role: As an Accounts Semi-Senior, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, providing essential support to the senior management team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to advance their career in accountancy within a dynamic practice.

Key Responsibilities:

Preparation of year-end accounts for a diverse portfolio of clients, including limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders.

Assisting in the preparation of VAT returns.

Supporting clients with bookkeeping services and resolving any queries.

Supporting junior team members with training and development.

Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Contributing to ad-hoc projects as required by the practice.

Requirements:

AAT part qualified/qualified, or part-qualified ACCA/ACA (or QBE).

Minimum of 2 years' experience working within an accountancy practice.

Strong knowledge of accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

High attention to detail with strong organisational skills.

A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn.
