Key Responsibilities:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients through a collaborative approach, negotiating with both internal and external partners, clients, and customers.
Drive the success of business plans and strategies by identifying and pursuing new opportunities in both public and private sectors, aligning with the Traffic & Parking team's growth objectives.
Provide leadership and mentorship to teams of engineers, ensuring they have the necessary tools and training to deliver high-quality service consistently.
Participate in operational team meetings, contribute to management strategies, and oversee up to six direct reports, conducting annual performance reviews.
Manage work programmes and provide expert technical support for Traffic and/or Parking projects, overseeing all transportation and highway schemes from start to finish.
Monitor team workloads, address emerging issues, and ensure quality, consistent performance, and technical excellence in all deliverables.
Actively recruit and develop high-quality talent, manage resources, and collaborate cross-regionally to ensure efficient service delivery.
Support regional financial performance through effective management of key accounts, debt, project oversight, staff resourcing, and pipeline analysis.
Job Requirements:
Degree or equivalent qualification.
Experience in the traffic and/or parking industry.
Proven experience in managing large teams and substantial budgets at a senior level.
Membership in a Professional Institute, preferably Chartered with CIHT or ICE.
Strong background in quality assurance and technical leadership.
Proficiency in writing and reviewing technical reports.
Solid understanding of relevant legislation, strategic planning, and guidelines
