Elvet Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced Civils Site Agent / Site Manager on behalf of a thriving civil engineering tier 1 main contractor to work on a large civil engineering project in East Yorkshire initially - further work secured to follow in West, South & East Yorkshire providing plenty of opportunity.

This contractor are one of the largest in the UK and deliver a host of infrastructure works across North of England - with Yorkshire being a particular area of growth currently. An ever-growing work pipeline made up of over £700m worth of projects is in effect in the region, meaning endless opportunities for the people joining the business now at this level. A strong & increasing presence in Yorkshire!

Projects consist of major highways, public realm developments, A road infrastructure & much more. Involving heavy civils, structures packages, deep drainage & large road construction. Project values from: £5m to £100m+.

Duties as Site Agent:

* Manage site team and supply chain to deliver projects to quality targets and deadlines

* Writing & updating RAMS

* Undertaking daily site paperwork

* Producing programmes & permits

* Progress meetings

* Managing site including sub-contractors to ensure quality and H&S standards are delivered

* Regular updating of construction phase plans

* Procurement for materials

* Promoting sustainable solutions for projects

* Provide reports for projects - costs, budgets, progress etc.

Experience Required as Site Agent:

* Must have experience as Site Agent / Site Manager on civil engineering schemes for a large main contractor

* Must have experience delivering: highways, structures & heavy infrastructure packages

* Must hold: CSCS, SMSTS, First Aid and full driving license

* Beneficial: HNC/HND or Degree in relevant subject, Temporary Works Supervisor / Coordinator & Appointed Persons etc.

Remuneration:

On offer is a salary of up to £60,000 (dependant on experience) plus...
