Engine Maintenance Technician
£35,000 - £40,000 + Van

MC Technical Recruitment is currently looking to recruit an Engine Maintenance Technician to join a leading business in the Power Generation sector. As an engine maintenance technician, you’ll be a part of a team carrying out maintenance across a number of sites in Blackpool and the surrounding areas.
As the Engine Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for:
Travelling to various sites across the Northwest, covering Blackpool, Preston etc
Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs on landfill gas and natural gas engines
Ensuring maintenance and repair works completed as per the maintenance schedule
Identifying spare parts and maintaining sufficient stocks and records.
Ensuring full HSEQ compliance on site
Working as part of a call-out rota
Assisting with operations where necessary
Other duties as required
To be considered for this role you should have:
A relevant engineering qualification (BTEC, HNC, NVQ, Apprenticeship etc)
Proven experience carrying out maintenance and repairs on large reciprocating engines
The ability to travel to various sites across the Northwest
Ability to work independent and within a team as well as effective time management and organisational skills
Full UK Driving Licence is essential for this role
