A financial services client of ours is looking for a Finance Business Partner to work in the Cost and Investment department in London.

This is a hybrid role when the expectation is to work a minimum of two days in the office.

Key responsibilities which are required:

Building relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
Producing detailed cost and headcount forecasts by working closely with the business translating their strategy into financial plans.
Providing explanations for cost variances against plan through a detailed understanding of business and cost drivers.
Supporting the Business to optimise operations and drive financial performance.
Clearly presenting 'the story' to a range of stakeholders and contribute to high level Board packs.
Reviewing and challenging the impact of investment programmes and understanding how the outcomes and benefits impact on business-as-usual activity.
Drive continuous process improvement, supporting the delivery of more timely, impactful financial analysis.

Experience required:

Qualified Accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA).
Several years experience in a Cost Business Partnering role ideally from the FS Industry.
Experience of developing meaningful relationships with a range of diverse stakeholders whilst providing independent review and challenge.
Strong communication and presentation skills with proven experience of being able to produce and present complex financial information concisely.
Excellent financial modelling and analytical skills.
A strong team player, self-motivated, proactive and able to use own initiative to formulate own ideas and opinions.
Experience in a fast-paced and agile environment with the ability to look for efficiencies and implement new processes as the business evolves.
