anzuk are working with Specialist Provisions in both Bristol and North Somerset, who are seeking staff to join their expanding teams from September 2024!

The Provisions:

SEMH settings catering to students who have been or are at risk of exclusions from other settings due to their exceptionally complex behavioural needs. The provisions provide bespoke learning programmes and positive behaviour support. This is for small groups of students that have a variety of learning difficulties tied in with exceptionally challenging behaviours.

The Role - SEMH Teaching Assistant - (£90 - £129 per day)

Full time, September 24
Full drivers license, access to a car and willingness to gain business insurance on vehicle
Multiple Specialist Teaching Assistant roles available
New Provision who are expanding
Working 1-1 or with small groups of children that have been removed from education due to barriers to learning (SEMH)
Secondary aged students
Flexibility could be required as you maybe asked to cover at their primary site in quieter periods Essential Requirements:

Experience working with challenging behaviour, either within education, healthcare, or other equivalent alternatives
Right To Work in the UK, and currently resides in or close to Bristol, UK
Enhanced Child Workforce DBS certificate on the Update Service, or a willingness to gain one
Desirable - Teach Teach level 2 or similar positive behaviour management training
Flexibility and adaptability to meet the evolving needs of students and the school community
Flexibility to work across all age ranges as we can't guarantee age groups for these bookings ** Sponsorship is not available for this role **
