Our client, a primary/secondary school with a strong focus on Special Educational Needs (SEN), is seeking an SEN Teaching Assistant to join their inclusive team.

Position Overview: Do you have a passion for supporting students with Special Educational Needs? Our client is looking for an SEN Teaching Assistant who is dedicated to helping students overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential. In this role, you will provide vital support to students with a range of needs, helping them to succeed both academically and socially.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with SEN, helping them access the curriculum.
Assist in the development and implementation of individualised education plans (IEPs).
Support students in developing essential life skills and independence.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and development.
Work closely with teachers, parents, and external agencies to ensure a holistic approach to student support.
Monitor and document student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.Qualifications:

Previous experience working with students with SEN is highly desirable.
Relevant qualifications in education, childcare, or a related field are an advantage.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
