What the role Involves:

Manage and optimise supply chain operations, including procurement, forecasting and incoming deliveries from overseas suppliers.
Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance overall supply chain performance.
Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers, and transportation providers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.
Look after stock control, inventory and stores alongside warehouse team.
Monitor and analyse supply chain data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, sales, and customer service, to ensure seamless operations.
Maintain and facilitate compliance with industry regulations and company policies related to supply chain and logistics.
Prepare and present regular reports on supply chain performance to senior management.Ideal Skills

Proven experience in supply chain management.Strong understanding of supply chain processes, including procurement, inventory management, and distribution.
Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Proficiency in SAGE would be advantageous.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
