Quality Manager / QHSE Manager required for an engineering business in Milton Keynes. The Quality Manager / QHSE Manager will be developing a new ISO14001 system & taking over responsibility for all health and safety across the business. Working in a mechanical engineering environment,

Duties in the Quality Manager / QHSE Manager role:
Reporting to the Operations Director, the Quality Manager / QHSE Manager will be responsible for the maintenance and management of the company’s quality, health & safety and environmental systems and for ensuring compliance and monitoring and reporting related performance across the business.
Development of a new ISO 14001 environmental system through to successful accreditation, and subsequently a ISO 45001 health and safety system.
Continually monitoring and auditing staff observation of rules, compliance with procedures and quality related output, implementing authorised colleague training and development as necessary.
Maintaining a schedule of internal audits, undertaking these in line with the respective standards.
Carrying out quality investigations when required.
Undertaking supplier audits and collaborating with suppliers to ensure the flow-down of company and customer quality requirements and that these are continually achieved.
Requirements in the Quality Manager / QHSE Manager role:
Previous experience as a Quality Manager or QHSE Manager in a manufacturing environment
Ideally NEBOSH qualified or experience with Health & Safety
You don’t need SC clearance, but be able to pass it
Be commutable to Milton Keynes
