Business Development Manager – Office Furniture
Job Title: Business Development Manager – Office Furniture / End Users
Industry Sector: Office Furniture, Furniture, Furniture & Interior Design Companies, Storage, Seating, Office Space, Workplace Furniture, Desks, Tables, Screens, Blue Chip Companies, Large End Users, End Users, Corporate End Users
Area to be covered: London
Remuneration: £50,000 - £55,000 + competitive negotiable bonus
Benefits: £5,000 car allowance & Full Benefits Package
The role of the Business Development Manager – Office Furniture / End Users will involve:
* Field sales role position promoting a manufactured range of office furniture solutions
* All of your time will be focused on selling to mid-large end users client and blue chip companies such as: Boeing, Virgin and Vitality
* Targeting mid-large projects circa £250k-£500k+
* Targets will be determined on experience however will be circa £500k first year with huge growth potential in the following years
* Problem solving, resolving conflicts and providing solutions to customers’ needs
* Will use the London showroom office as a base to showcase product ranges
The ideal applicant will be a Business Development Manager – Office Furniture / End Users with:
* Must have experience dealing with large end users / blue chip companies
* Must have experience working on mid-large project size in excess of £200k
* Ideally from the office furniture / furniture industry however would be open to other interior products
* Ideally with existing relationships / contacts in London
* Proactive and self-sufficient – ability to hit ground running
* Proven track record of field sales success / territory management
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills
* Good time management skills, focussed and customer service orientated
