What will you be doing?

* Ideal candidate is a professional with strong background in production operation support, database technologies, performance tunning and troubleshooting skills.

Skills that will help you in the role:

* Postgres - High-Availability - Replication Exposure.
* Bachelor's in Engineering degree in computer science or Masters Degree in related field.
* 5+ years of prior database management exposure preferably Postgres { v11, v12,v13,v14,v15+ } is required.
* Hands on exposure in Installing and Configuring HADR/Replication Clusters in Postgres for High Availability.
* Exposure related to administration tasks not limited to installation of database software, configuration, troubleshooting, database object creation, routine maintenance tasks.
* Familiarity/Exposure with Large scale Database/Schema Design and Distributed Workload Management is preferred.
* Strong troubleshooting/performance tuning skills required.
* Must have prior exposure analyzing and improving SQL runtime performance, analyzing execution plans and optimizing complex queries, perform recommendation for join optimization/index creation.
* Proven experience with concurrency,multithreading and distributed system architectures.
* Strong Organizational Skills, ability to work/collaborate together with different cross functional teams/projects.
* Prior exposure managing and troubleshooting distributed system architectures, concurrency, Multithreading environment.
* Proficiency/exposure in Unix OS/platform, ansible and shell/python scripting, automation, advanced-SQL is preferred and should be effective in a complex data management environment.
* Comfortable working cross-functionality with multiple types of stakeholder groups, ability to manage, troubleshoot large, complex systems design and implementation challenges independently.
* Effective written & verbal communication skills: ability to clearly and concisely communicate with clients, partners, and peers at all level of the organization (external and internal alike)
* Experience creating detailed technical documentation using docusaurus, twiki.
* Experience communicating updates and resolutions to customers and other partners and collaborate with cross functional development teams and stakeholders.
