This role is based in a mainstream school with a SEN provision, making it an ideal opportunity for candidates with experience and knowledge of various SEN, including Autism ranging from mild to severe. Candidates with previous experience, either personal or professional, working with SEN will be highly considered. Experience with PECS or Phonics will be advantageous, as well as prior experience working 1:1 or in small groups with children.

Daily Duties:
- Provide support and assistance to students with SEN in classroom activities
- Implement individualized education plans for students with diverse learning needs
- Collaborate with teachers and SENCO to create inclusive learning environments
- Assist in the development of social and communication skills for students with SEN
- Support students during break times and extracurricular activities
- Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents
- Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance your skills in supporting SEN students
