Proposals Engineer – Crawley - £45,000 – £55,000

A Project Engineer / Proposals Engineer is required for a specialist machinery manufacturer in the Crawley area on a permanent basis.

The Project Engineer / Proposals Engineer will be responsible for:

* Writing, preparing and negotiating technical proposals

* Seeking out new business opportunities whist maintaining strong relationships with existing customers

* Helping to organise and plan teams to deliver projects to spec, on budget within agreed timeframes

* Meeting customers face to face

* Producing cost estimates

* Respond to RFQs

The ideal Project Engineer / Proposals Engineer will have:

* Technical qualification – Mechanical or electrical engineering as examples

* Ability to understand project plans

* High attention to detail

* Excellent customer facing skills

* Analytical approach
