Highbridge Resourcing are a Social Care Agency and we are recruiting a level 3 qualified Support Worker to work with a vulnerable young female on a 2 to 1 care package based in Weston Super Mare. The young person is between 16-18 years old and has complex mental health needs. She lives in her own accommodation and she requires a waking night support worker 2-3 nights per week, possibly more.
The support worker role is available on a temporary long term basis and requires commitment and stability. You can give your availability on a weekly or monthly basis to the manager and she will issue your shifts accordingly. You MUST be available to work consistently each week.
The organisation supports young people age 16 to 18 years that require 24 hour independent living support. The shifts available are
* 10.30pm to 0800
The ideal support worker MUST have:
* Have an NVQ level 3 in children and young people, or equivalent qualification (such as Counselling, Psychology Degree, Access to Nursing, Education Diploma) - ESSENTIAL
* Have at least 6 months paid experience in childrens/young people or similar support worker role in the UK.
* The ability to work alone as lone working is required.
All successful applicants will be contacted within 48 hours and will be subject to an interview. A full registration with Highbridge Resourcing is also required. You will need to show evidence of an enhanced DBS that allows you to work with children and adults.
