Our client is an SEN school in the Stevenage area. They are dedicated to seeking a compassionate and patient Mental Health Assistant to join their well-established team with in the education and training sector. They strive to encourage their learners by managing their challenging behaviour in a positive and creative way. School Mental Health Assistant Requirements:

Personal/Professional experience with children and/or young people is desirable but not essential
A caring individual with energy, drive and enthusiasm.
Ability to work as part of team, alongside teaching and support staff
Willing to support a pupil with personal care where necessary.
Able to use their initiative to support learning.
Passion to support children and young people with special educational needsOur desired Mental Health Assistant:

Will be a positive and passionate individual
The ability to understand the challenges the SEN students face and to be adapt your approach accordingly.
Patience and empathy
Give your best at all times
