Overview:
- Join a data and analytics division of a major inter-broker dealer, providing clients with access to global financial and commodities markets. Our solutions help clients manage complex markets more effectively, from pre- to post-trade. As an FCA and ESMA authorized benchmark administrator, we're at the forefront of OTC benchmarks and indices across Europe and the UK.
Role Overview:
- As a Data Engineer, you'll be critical in designing, building, and deploying new systems and products in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You'll work with proprietary data to create solutions that drive our clients' strategies.

Key Responsibilities of a Data Engineer:
- Build performant batch and streaming data pipelines
- Develop GenAI-driven data products
- Contribute to data warehouse development and cloud-based solutions
- Maintain data applications, pipelines, and databases
- Participate in agile development teams
- Write unit, integration, and data quality tests
Requirements for a Data Engineer:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field
- Strong experience with Python and SQL
- Ability to write clean, scalable, and performant code
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of Linux, ETL, and event streaming (eg, Kafka)
- Experience with Snowflake, Kubernetes, Airflow, and AWS
- Understanding of data science concepts like machine learning, data mining, statistics, and visualisation.
