Openshift Engineer - this is a long term contract opportunity to join aglobally operating Basel based company in the Banking sector.

Your tasks:

• Implementing and maintaining orchestration technology for container-based workloads, ensuring seamless integration within a hybrid cloud environment
• Driving automation across modern compute workloads, while embedding DevOps principles to enhance technology modernization and operational efficiency
• Ensuring all activities comply with stringent security standards, corporate policies, release and change management processes, and regulatory requirements
• Incorporating resilience practices to ensure solutions are robust, secure, and sustainable
• Collaborating with development and operations teams for seamless integration of applications into the OpenShift platform

Your experience/knowledge:

• Experience in administering and operating OpenShift platforms, with a deep understanding of platform nuances and best practices
• Strong knowledge of code management solutions, particularly GIT, and hands-on experience with CI/CD tools to streamline development and deployment processes
• Demonstrated Subject Matter Expertise in OpenShift, with the ability to guide and mentor team members
• Solid experience in Linux administration and Shell Scripting, essential for managing and optimizing our infrastructure
• Background in logging using Grafana Loki
• Language skills: English - fluent
