Openshift Engineer - GIT
Openshift Engineer - this is a long term contract opportunity to join aglobally operating Basel based company in the Banking sector.
Your tasks:
- Implementing and maintaining orchestration technology for container-based workloads, ensuring seamless integration within a hybrid cloud environment
- Driving automation across modern compute workloads, while embedding DevOps principles to enhance technology modernization and operational efficiency
- Ensuring all activities comply with stringent security standards, corporate policies, release and change management processes, and regulatory requirements
- Incorporating resilience practices to ensure solutions are robust, secure, and sustainable
- Collaborating with development and operations teams for seamless integration of applications into the OpenShift platform
Your experience/knowledge:
- Experience in administering and operating OpenShift platforms, with a deep understanding of platform nuances and best practices
- Strong knowledge of code management solutions, particularly GIT, and hands-on experience with CI/CD tools to streamline development and deployment processes
- Demonstrated Subject Matter Expertise in OpenShift, with the ability to guide and mentor team members
- Solid experience in Linux administration and Shell Scripting, essential for managing and optimizing our infrastructure
- Background in logging using Grafana Loki
- Language skills: English - fluent

- Excellent comprehension skills with attention to detail
- A high degree of self-organisation and time management
- Analytical and solution-orientated thinking
