iO Associates are looking for a Manufacturing Specialist with over 2 years of experience in Oil & Gas, Nuclear industry, or a relevant engineering background to work within manufacturing operational environment. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in pipe design, manufacturing, and installation. This unique combination allows our customers to increase production and asset integrity whilst reducing the overall costs associated with a pipeline system.

Job Title: Manufacturing Specialist
Location: Newcastle
Position Type: 12month contract (Potentially to go perm)

Roles and Responsibilities:-

  • Leads risk assessments in Tandem with HSEQ, engineers, and operators' presentations.
  • Recognize any dangers or risks across the workplace and take appropriate action.
  • Accountability for guaranteeing adherence to HSE regulations
  • Finish any required risk evaluations and checklists for new mechanical equipment.
  • Carry out or assist with investigations after mishaps or occurrences.
  • Reducing CoPQ by examining run data and locating fresh or enhanced techniques.
  • The process inspection records (P.I.R.) are reviewed.
  • LDM support for departments and work centers.
  • In cooperation with WCEs, suggest and put into practice containment, corrective, and preventive measures.
  • Ensuring that the work center's 6S sustainability is supported by the implementation of the 6S condition.
  • After consulting the engineer, consider your options and put the best option into action.
  • As instructed, take part in or oversee CI initiatives and communicate with the Manufacturing Improvement team.
