HVAC Materials Coordinator - Marine Corp Base Camp Pendleton

HVAC Materials Coordinators on Camp Pendleton maintain consistent relevant stock of HVAC and electrical inventory parts, ordering new stock up to pre-authorized limit based on usage and job orders. The HVAC Materials Coordinator is responsible for costing, purchasing, and researching materials utilizing the current accountability structures in place. The ideal EMI HVAC Materials Coordinator enjoys challenges and working in a fast-paced team environment and has experience working in an HVAC supply/parts house.

Salary

$28.60/hr. plus $4.57 fringe benefits used towards insurance and 401k!

Key Responsibilities

All data entry as currently required

logs, inventory, smart sheet etc.

Maintain organization and cleanliness of the parts warehouse/ Laydown Yard

Replenish truck inventory for field staff

Establish and maintain backup source for high-demand items

Develop and maintain good working relationship with vendors

Receive incoming material and distribute according to current structure

Warranty replacement

Staging of materials with Tech or Manager

Instruct yard attendant on areas needing attention in Laydown Yard

yard must be visually acceptable

Work with subs on usage of DSC laydown yard

Maintain tool Inventory

Attend weekly meetings

Performs other related duties as assigned

Essential Skills

Knowledge of HVAC parts, materials, and supplies

Knowledge of receiving methods, techniques, and practices.

Knowledge of building maintenance needs and service requirements

Knowledge of the practices, methods, materials, and equipment of the building trades

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent

1+ years experience in an HVAC parts/supply house

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office

Fork lift certification is a plus (will be needed)

Valid driver’s license

Pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check

Regular, dependable attendance

U.S. citizenship to obtain and maintain access to military installations

Physical Requirements

Must be able to lift up to 50lbs unassisted

Reach items located booth high and low

Climbing ladders
