Responsibilities

Dismantle machines, using hammers, wrenches, crowbars, and other hand-held tools

Follow and help create layout plans, blueprints, and other drawings for installation.

Move machinery and equipment, using hoists, dollies, rollers, and trucks.

Assemble and install equipment, such as shafting, conveyors, etc.

Align machines and equipment, using hoists, jacks, hand tools, squares, rules, micrometers, and plumb bobs.

Assemble machines and bolt, weld, rivet, or otherwise fasten them to foundation or other structures, using hand tools and power tools.

Reviews drawings, instructions, blueprints, or samples to ensure accurate production.

Takes precise measurements

Plans proper sequence of tasks to complete the assignment.

Monitors production, adjusting feed and other settings as necessary.

Maintains inventory of completed products.

Performs machine maintenance and minor repairs as necessary.

Maintains a safe and clean workstation.

Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed.

Documents actions by completing production and quality logs.

Full time, single shift: 5 days/8 hours per day schedule: 7:00 am-3:30 pm Monday-Friday

 Overtime work may be available for non-exempt employees

Requirements

Certification or training in millwrighting is a plus.

Prior experience in the manufacturing industry is preferred.

Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and safety

Proficient in math

Skilled with a variety of both small and large hand and power tools, overhead cranes, hoists, man-lifts, forklifts and related tools and moving equipment.

Basic computer skills

Strong attention to detail / attitude toward safety. 

Team player

Self-motivated
