Your Role as an SEN Teaching Assistant:

As an SEN Teaching Assistant specialising in ASD support, your responsibilities will include:

Building a positive and supportive rapport with the student.

Implementing tailored strategies to support the student's learning and social development.

Collaborating with the SENCO and teaching staff to create and follow Individual Education Plans (IEPs).

Providing one-on-one support and assistance during classroom activities.

Monitoring and reporting on the student's progress and well-being.

Requirements:

To excel in this role, you should have:

Previous experience supporting students with ASD.

A compassionate and patient approach to working with children.

Relevant qualifications or training in SEN support.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
