Are you a fully qualified Electrical Engineer with experience installing machinery? Would you like to receive full training on how to carry out Electrical Design using CAD software? Due to continued growth and the securing of new contracts, my client is looking to hire an Electrical Design and Installation Engineer to join their highly skilled team in a varied and exciting new role, where you will be servicing Defence and Aviation customers across the UK and Worldwide. My client operates in a purpose built, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Manchester.

The Electrical Design and Installation Engineer will be responsible for the electrical design and relocation of several electrical installations between the south coast of England and Scotland. This is a high profile and secure site, so full security clearance will be required. This will be fully funded by my client.

The Candidate:
*Experience using a CAD package - Desirable however, full training provided if necessary
*Fully qualified electrical engineer with 18th edition, NVQ, HNC, HND or similar - Essential
*Any background in manufacturing, civil engineering or general engineering is welcome
*Security Clearance required - Will be fully funded by my client
*Lives a commutable distance from Failsworth in Manchester
*Happy to travel between sites when required - This will only be to conduct brief surveys occasionally

The Role:
*Carry out the Electrical Design for the relocation of several electrical installations between the south coast of England and Scotland
*Conduct surveys on all sites to assess the layout, installation routing and power requirements
*Produce layout drawings ready for handover to the install teams
*Calculate cable sizing, cable management and ben radius requirements
