Mechanical Design Engineer

Industry: Building Services

Salary: £30,000 to £40,000

Location: South East London

An opportunity has opened for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join a building services company based in South East London. The ideal candidate will have a one or two years experience in the HVAC industry and have excellent design knowledge mainly using AutoCAD.

The company are going through a period of growth and are looking for people looking to continue their career in the HVAC and building services industry with many opportunities for progression.

What they’re looking for:

* One or two years’ industry experience in Mechanical Design for the Building Services industry

* HVAC design experience is hugely beneficial

* Strong AutoCAD 2D and / or 3D experience

* Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar

* Any experience on projects would be a bonus

* Any surveying experience would be beneficial but not essential

Mechanical Design Engineer Responsibilities:

* Working with the design team, assisting with HVAC design and other building services design tasks

* Reviewing your own designs and making improvements

* Using AutoCAD for drawings and analysing current designs

* Analysing building layouts and helping with public health design

* Assisting with site surveys on occasion

All work is taken place within London.
