URGENT VACANCY

Osenka Recruitment are looking for an experienced Site Agent/Site Engineer to join our civils client and their highway and infrastructure project based in Norwich.

Site Agent/Engineer duties will include:

* Ultimate responsibility for all engineering aspects for the self-delivery of 10,000m of drainage (filter drains, carrier drain and associated ancillaries) and installation of 10nr culvert structures.

* Reporting directly to Technical Manager and Contracts Manager

* Working closely with Senior Works Manager and QS on a day to day basis

* Material requisitions to maintain 3 week lookahead programme

* Managing technical queries to maintain 3-week lookahead programme – review of spec and drawings for each element of work to ensure a clear briefing to the site teams

* Producing drainage information sheets for each run to brief the gangers in each team

* Engineering support for drainage and culvert gangs

* Managing a team of setting out engineers at various levels of experience

* Managing the QA process via ITP’s and client coordination

* Ensuring materials are approved ahead of time and meet contract specification

* Attending daily coordination meeting to advise on productivity and inspection requirements for following shifts

* Collation and submission of as-built records and H&S file data

Start Date: Immediate start

Hours: 07.30 - 16.30

Essential Requirements:

* CSCS card

* Associated Civil Engineering Qualification/Experience

* Safety Critical Medical
