Set in Birmingham, our client’s hospital is conveniently located for access to the West Midlands motorway network and with very good local public transport links.
The hospital provides a diverse range of inpatient services, including acute and psychiatric intensive care for adults aged 18-25 years, Child and Adolescent Mental Health, specialist Eating Disorder (including day care) and private acute and addictions treatment programmes.
The successful candidate will be required to provide support and guidance to the onsite Senior Management Team (SMT) and Managers on the interpretation and implementation of HR policies and procedures. You will also manage the onsite HR and Finance Administrators to ensure the team is working efficiently to deliver HR and Finance processes accurately and on time.
Knowledge, skills and experience:
Previous experience in coordinating HR activities such as managing grievances, disciplinaries and absence in line with company polices within a corporate environment. Ideally within Healthcare sector but not essential.
Leading and managing a team to ensure the full range of HR activities is completed on time such as payroll processing.
Effective communication skills as you will frequently need to address emotive and sensitive situations involving staff and managers from all levels at site.
Be able to operate at pace and ensure all processes are followed in line with policy and best practice.
You will have relationship-building skills and excellent attention to detail.
Working towards CIPD would be ideal but not essential.
