TeamJobs have a great opportunity for an Performance Systems Integration Engineer in Peterborough, to start ASAP.
Pay rate: up to £25.40 per hour, dependant on experience.
Working hours: Monday to Thursday 08.30am to 4.45pm and Friday 08:30 until 4.15pm (there may be some flexibility around this). You will be required on site a minimum of 3 days.
Job Summary
The Performance Systems Integration (PSI) team are responsible for end-to-end definition of the performance system:
Requirements - System architecture, calibration requirements and control system definition
Detailed technical trade-offs and control system development, through use of simulation and analytical tools
Demonstrate product quality, emissions conformance, and product sign off
PSI lead the engine performance development cycle; from new technology concept selection, through to development of new products and then supporting and maintaining our current products. PSI also play a key role in integrating our products into customer applications.
Main Responsibilities
Development of future series products
Working alongside other talented engineers
Problem solving and using technical knowledge to make data driven decisions.
Collaborating with partners in Systems, Component, Performance and Electronics, to deliver world class products.
Deliver oral presentations and write reports
Key Skills Required:
Analytical thinker
Problem solver
Be able to communicate with a cross functional team
Confident in presenting
Technical knowledge and Experience of some or all of the following:
Engine and / or After treatment performance development
Engine/power train Control Systems
0D/1D simulation tools to design and optimise systems
Matlab / SimulinkWhat you will get:
