This is a temporary role working for our client based in Redhill.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct scheduled inspections, maintenance, and repairs on HGV vehicles, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulations.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, implementing effective solutions to minimise vehicle downtime.
Carry out routine servicing and preventive maintenance, ensuring that vehicles are safe and roadworthy.
Collaborate with colleagues and supervisors to share knowledge and expertise, fostering a strong team environment.
Complete accurate documentation and records of all maintenance and repair activities, ensuring compliance with company policies.Qualifications and Experience:
Proven experience as an HGV Fitter and Technician, with a strong understanding of vehicle mechanics and electrical systems.
Proficient in diagnosing and repairing a wide range of HGV issues, using the latest tools and technologies.
Sound knowledge of vehicle regulations and safety standards, ensuring compliance at all times.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, showcasing excellent communication and collaboration skills.
