As an Agency Mental Health Nurse, you will work across various healthcare settings providing care to individuals with mental health needs. Your role will involve assessing patients, developing and implementing care plans, administering medication, and supporting patients in their journey towards recovery.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide compassionate, person-centered care to individuals with mental health conditions.
Conduct assessments and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans.
Administer medications and monitor patient responses, ensuring safe and effective treatment.
Support patients in managing their mental health and encourage independence.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
Work flexibly across different settings and adapt to various clinical environments.
Adhere to all relevant healthcare regulations and XP Medical policies.
Requirements:
Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with a valid NMC Pin.
Minimum of 1 years of experience in mental health nursing.
Strong understanding of mental health conditions and their management.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends, as required.
A compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.
Ability to travel to different locations as needed.
