Our client is highly regarded as a leading residential and commercial NICEIC electrical, fire & security contractor. They are based in Essex and serve all areas across Essex, London and the Home Counties.

Responsibilities:
* Service, fault-finding and maintenance of Access Control / Door Entry Systems, CCTV
* Assist servicing Fire Alarms, Emergency Lighting. Automatic Gates and Intruder Alarms.
* Good fault-finding skills and ability to resolve technical issues (These would need to be demonstrated at interview stage)
* Carry out installation work when required (small installs and large sites)
* Take responsibility for the overall quality of the work delivered, ensuring all works are completed to the relevant standards set out by our regulating bodies.
* Be able to clearly communicate with the client and administration team.
* Be capable to work alone, self-motivating and when needed work closely with other engineers to complete the task at hand.
* Take part in a call out rota where required.
* Covering all the London and surrounding areas.
Key Skills:
* Excellent communication skills
* Well-organised, presentable, reliable, and good time keeping.
* Confident can-do attitude with the ability to think on your feet to overcome problems.
MUST HAVE'S:
* Good knowledge of Access Control/Door Entry: Paxton, Comelit, Entrotec, BPT and Impro.
* Good knowledge of CCTV Systems: Hikvision, Hanwha (comfortable with networked cameras is a must)
* Good knowledge across Intruder systems: Texecom, Galaxy.
* You must have a Full UK driving Licence and be over 23 years old due to van insurance.
* You must have at least 3 years’ experience within the Fire & Security industry.
Advantages:
* Good knowledge of Fire Alarms is desirable but not necessary: Advanced, Kentec, Morley etc (SMS/GENT/Protec all advantageous)
* Confident in Emergency Light testing is desirable but not necessary.
* Any automated gate experience or AOV experience is desirable but not necessary.
