Community Action Against Addiction is seeking Security Officers/Customer Service Representatives to join our team.

The Security Officer/Customer Service Representative maintains a safe and secure environment for program clients, visitors, and employees by patrolling the property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting the building, equipment, and access points permitting entry.

All interested candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Good written and verbal communication skills. Candidates must have the ability to communicate in a courteous but direct manner.

Physically capable of performing all required duties, including, but not limited to: long periods of standing and prolonged walking, and the ability to contain physical confrontations with combative person(s). Candidates must have a minimum of one year of security experience. OPOTA certification preferred. Candidates must pass a thorough background investigation including criminal history. Must be able to submit to and pass a comprehensive drug test. Candidates must be able to work holidays and weekends.

Under the direct supervision of the Director of Security, the Security Officer/Customer Service Representative is responsible for protecting clients, visitors, employees and agency's property by conducting regular patrols and enforcing the agency's rules and regulations.
