Manpower UK are recruiting on behalf of our leading manufacturer in the conveyor industry for a Powered Access Engineer who would be joining our client's expanding team located in Corby.
Role Overview:
Our client is a leading manufacturer in the conveyor industry and the UK Authorised Service Partner for GEDA. As a family-run business, they understand the importance of extraordinary employees to elevate our customer service to the next level.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a Construction Powered Access (Hoist/Warranty) Engineer to inspect, service, and repair products and GEDA Hoists across the UK. The role involves providing rapid response for machine breakdowns and ensuring all equipment operates efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct routine maintenance, service, and repair of construction hoists
Ensure equipment is fit for purpose and operating efficiently
Perform PDI inspections
Attend to breakdowns at customer sites
Ensure compliance with LOLER regulationsRequirements:
Previous experience in hoist, powered access, plant, or material handling
Strong electrical and mechanical background
Passion for service and teamwork
CSCS Card preferred; NVQ qualification or equivalent is desirable
Full UK driver's license
Previous experience with construction hoists, particularly GEDA products, is advantageous
Flexibility for occasional unsociable hours requiredCore Working Hours:
7:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Monday - Friday) some overtime is expected due to UK Coverage and some overnight stays.Benefits:
20 days annual leave plus bank holidays
