Job Title: Registered Manager - Children's EBD Service (7 beds)

Location: Warrington

Salary: £55,000 (with potential to increase up to £70,000 with bonus)

Job Type: Full-time

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Registered Manager to lead our 6-bed EBD service in Wigan. As a Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management and day-to-day operation of the service, ensuring the highest standards of care and support are provided to our young people.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide strategic leadership and management to the service, developing and implementing policies, procedures, and strategies to achieve outstanding outcomes for our young people.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including local authorities, commissioners, and partner agencies.
Manage a team of staff, providing guidance, support, and coaching to ensure excellent practice and high-quality care.
Oversee the planning and delivery of individualized care plans, ensuring they meet the needs of each young person.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, auditing, and inspections.
Monitor and evaluate the performance of the service, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary.

Requirements:

Registered Manager qualification (level 4 NVQ or above)

Proven experience in a similar role or leadership position in a children's residential setting
Strong knowledge of EBD care principles and best practices
Excellent leadership, management, and communication skills
Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing circumstances

Strong understanding of safeguarding principles and regulatory requirements

Excellent understanding of OFSTED Requirements
