A world leading aerospace business seeks a maintenance fitter to join their successful team in Gloucester.
The Role
You will be part of a diverse multi skilled process and assemble maintenance team, working on equipment used in surface finish, heat treatment, Non Destructive Testing (NDT), paint & OE Assembly by an international leading company. Your responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out reactive and preventative maintenance.
- Fault find & identify spare parts required.
- Documenting & Prioritising work through a CMMS.
- Operate within all HS&E standards and Policies.
Essential Criteria
- Must be able to read mechanical drawings including assembly and schematics. - Ability to work as part of a team and work independently.
- Ability to demonstrate fault finding skills/abilities.
- Fabrication and fitting skills (Core bench-fitting skills necessary).
- Experience using a CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management System). - Be able to work safely and adhere to HS&E standards and policies.
Salary and Hours
- £37,000
- Monday - Thursday, 7:30am - 4pm, Friday 7:30am - 12pm
