We have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Officer to join our wonderful friendly team at our Ivetsey Bank Hospital. Our Tier 4 Child and Adolescent Mental Health (CAMHS) hospital for young people aged 12-18 with a diagnosed mental health condition. We’re committed to helping every person we support feel safe, happy and empowered, enabling them to live the best life possible.

Located in Staffordshire, we specialise in supporting young people with severe or complex mental health conditions who need intensive inpatient treatment. We are dedicated to providing caring, supportive, recovery-focused treatment and we achieve this by working together with our young people, their families and other professionals.

What you'll be working:

Full Time – Working Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm – with on call duties.

What you'll be doing:

* General maintenance and upkeep of the centre buildings

* Maintenance of pathways including cleaning and snow and ice clearance and prevention operations

* The recording of all data associated with Estates Operations manual

* Maintenance of all grounds and lawns using the plant and equipment supplied and the care and maintenance of all specialist Estates equipment including PPE

* Stock and storage of all equipment and maintenance and cleanliness of all storage areas

* Monitoring of gas and electricity systems, water systems and sewage systems

* Safety inspections on electrical equipment and maintaining inventory records

* Cleaning and general maintenance of the centre’s vehicle.

What you'll have:

A full Driving Licence

*

Previous experience within a maintenance position

*

Friendly and helpful approach

*

Ability to work with the team or on own dependant on tasks
