Job Description:
One of our prestigious Clients, a beautiful, purpose-built care home based in the Hucknall area of Nottingham, are looking for a Senior Healthcare assistant to join their friendly and hard-working team. You will be providing high quality day to day care including personal care to the residents while supporting other healthcare assistants.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide high-quality care and support to patients in accordance with their care plans.
* Assist with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, mobility, and meal assistance.
* Administer medications and monitor patient health, reporting any changes to the nursing staff.
* Support and mentor junior healthcare assistants, providing guidance and training as needed.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
* Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
* Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Healthcare Assistant, with at least 2 years in a senior role.
* NVQ/SVQ at a minimum of Level 2 in Health and Social Care.
* Medication administration training
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Compassionate and patient-focused approach.
