We are working with an education provider in the Birmingham area who are looking for an Electrical Engineering Workshop Tutor to join their engineering training team on a full-time, permanent basis.

The job role would consist of you delivering practical hands-on training to Electrical Engineering learners (up to level 2) at the provider's dedicated engineering training centre in Birmingham. It is a full-time role, with general hours from 8am to 4:30pm. However, there is an early finish on Fridays as the centre closes at 1pm.

They would need you to deliver on the EAL Level 2 Engineering programme, covering the following modules:
-Maintaining Electrical Equipment/Systems
-Wiring and Testing Electrical Equipment and Circuits
-Assembling, Wiring and Testing Electrical Panels/Components Mounted in Enclosures
-Forming and Assembling Electrical Cable Enclosure and Support Systems

The training provider are offering a starting salary that goes up to a maximum of £40,000 per annum for this position, which would also include a contributory pension, a health plan (including dental and optical contributions), and 34 days holiday per year (including Bank Holidays).

To be eligible for the position, you MUST have:
-A level 3 Electrical qualification
-Industrial experience of hands-on Electrical Engineering work
