Job Role: Production Controller
Location: Ferndown

Salary: £32,000 Per Annum

The Company:

My client within Manufacturing is looking for a production controller to join their team. Reporting to the General manager, the ideal candidate will have experience working in a manufacturing company.

Job Role Responsibilities:

Ensure the Business Group has clear production schedules to support site-wide production and sales targets.
Track daily progress to maintain alignment with production plans.
Ensure production planning aligns with Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, and People (SQCDP) objectives.
Adhere to Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment following 5S principles.
Keep work-to lists updated and available at all work centres daily.
Prioritise tasks efficiently in coordination with relevant departments.
Coordinate work schedules with management to meet production needs cost-effectively.
Monitor work order progress in line with ERP system requirements.
Ensure timely completion of critical orders.
Facilitate smooth material flow between production processes.
Oversee production schedules and communicate changes promptly.
Collaborate with other departments to achieve customer and company goals.
Liaise with internal and external customers on critical production parts.
Identify potential bottlenecks by reviewing production reports.
Maintain transparency regarding production status, including delays and challenges.
Prepare KPI reports and analyse trends in production hours and batch completion.

Essential/Desirable:

Very strong excel skills to manage complex spreadsheets
Motivated by the prospect of supporting the manufacturing of complex components.
Happy to work in a fast-paced work environment.
Comfortable with change and a flexible approach to working, with a good eye for detail.
Production Control experience.

Good written and verbal communication skills and ability to interact with internal and external parties at all levels.
Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task, with guidance and supervision.
