Electronics Engineer – Alderley Park, Cheshire – Permanent £50k-£65k per annum
Flexible/hybrid working, averaging 3 days onsite per week, depending on project needs.

You’ll be working on the design and development of groundbreaking technology that improves energy efficiency and helps substations to prioritise drawing power from renewable and sustainable sources. This scientifically proven technology will lower energy costs for the end user and help the energy industry take a massive leap towards zero carbon.
The company is seeking an Electronics Engineer with a good understanding of Power Electronics to assist with the full lifecycle product development of these systems.

I am looking for a candidate with as much of the following experience as possible, although you are not expected to have all of it:
* Power electronics, electronics & electrical product development
* Degree in relevant engineering discipline
* Simulation using Matlab/Simulink/PSPICE
* Requirements capture and management
* Experience in a highly regulated / safety critical industry
* Experience in designing microcontroller based systems
* Schematic & PCB design
* Electrical schematic design and wiring diagrams
* Knowledge of LV and MV power networks & topologies would be a huge advantage
