Job Title: Junior PHP Developer
Hours: 9am - 5pm, Monday-Friday (Flexible hours to assist with commute)
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days remote)

Salary: £27k-£30k, dependent on experience and probationary reviews

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and maintain web applications using PHP and related technologies.
• Collaborate with senior developers to design and implement new features while maintaining the existing codebase, particularly in Azure environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing applications.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
• Create automation tools for product maintenance.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL.
• Basic understanding of Front End technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript frameworks.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Good communication skills and a strong willingness to learn.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with PHP frameworks such as Laravel or Symfony.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services.
• Understanding of Agile development methodologies.
