IO Associates is seeking a Wing Build Support Engineer, to work at the Broughton site for a global pioneer in the aerospace industry, operating in the commercial aircraft, helicopters, defense, and space sectors. The company is a major player in the aviation industry, specializing in the design, manufacture, and delivery of commercial and military aircraft, helicopters, and space systems.

The Broughton Wing Plant Engineering Team (PET) is hiring a Build Support Engineer for the Single Aisle (SA) and Widebody Wing Equipping (WB) Component Delivery Teams (CDTs). You'll be part of a dynamic team delivering high-quality Build Support to meet Plant needs.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the bridge between Engineering and Manufacturing, ensuring co-designed solutions that fit the industrial system while keeping the customer's perspective in mind.
• Support design definition and communicate industrial needs to the broader engineering team.
• Drive product improvements to reduce Recurring Costs, Non-Recurring Costs, and Non-Conformances across the SA & WB value streams.
• Provide lineside build support and be the main point of contact for Engineering issues within the Wing Plant CDTs, including root cause analysis for design-related abnormalities.
• Enhance team efficiency and effectiveness by implementing methods, tools, and processes, contributing to goals like AOS and sustainability.
