Description

The Modern Workplace Platform plays a crucial role in driving the Group's transformation efforts and embracing cloud-native technologies. By joining a dynamic and passionate team within our Technology function, specifically Colleague Messaging and Surveillance engineering, you will help deliver and maintain communication tools that enable our colleagues to connect and collaborate efficiently across various devices, enhancing productivity.

Our team operates across the UK, primarily utilizing Microsoft cloud-based services to ensure that technology boosts colleague productivity, supporting the broader mission of helping Britain recover by making IT a facilitator rather than a barrier.

We are looking for a proactive and team-oriented individual eager to contribute to an ambitious new service. If you're someone who values growth, progress, and innovation, this role offers the chance to explore new challenges and develop your skills. You will play a key role in assessing technical details and understanding the business impact of changes within Colleague Messaging and Surveillance, ensuring that decisions strike the right balance between business objectives, technical needs, supplier performance, and risk management. You will also advocate for aligning processes with automation and evergreen principles as we expand our cloud-based services, working closely with the broader team to harness the potential of modern workspace technologies and continually enhance our service.

Requirements

You'll have knowledge of software life cycles, software maintenance and understand its importance with expertise in Microsoft technologies (Windows 11, Exchange 365), communication-based technologies and Software as a Service implementations using cloud architecture and you'll be able to demonstrate a breadth of strong experience across the following technologies:

  • Microsoft Exchange, both on premise and in the 365 cloud
  • Email Encryption technologies, for example Microsoft Purview.
  • Internet Email routing and security, solutions such as Cisco IronPort, DKIM/SPF/DMARC/SMTP DANE/DNSSEC
  • Email Archiving and Journaling applications.
  • Electronic and Voice surveillance SaaS software, eg Veritas ALTA
  • Electronic Fax Solutions.

Up to £75,000 (Dependant on experience)
