Position Overview:

As an Electrical Project Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that projects are meticulously managed from inception to completion. You will uphold the company’s high standards, adhering to all safety procedures and policies, while delivering exceptional service to clients. Your role will involve achieving project targets and meeting delivery timescales, with a strong focus on health and safety compliance, particularly in line with section 7 of the Health and Safety at Work Act.

This role demands someone with extensive experience in project management within the power distribution, DNO, HV (11kV, 33kV), utilities, or electrical industries. Your expertise will guide the management of budgets, direct reports such as Site Managers and Supervisors, and the coordination of subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities:

* Managing projects from site acceptance to completion, ensuring successful delivery.

* Adhering to company standards, safety procedures, and policies while providing a competent service to clients.

* Ensuring all health and safety requirements are met, working towards section 7 of the Health and Safety at Work Act.

* Achieving targets and meeting the company's delivery timescales.

* Engaging in client-facing interactions, maintaining strong relationships.

* Managing budgets effectively and reporting on financial performance.

* Overseeing the management of subcontractors and directly supervising reports such as Site Managers and Supervisors.

* Reporting directly to the commercial team and regional managers.

Requirements:

* End-to-end project management experience, from site acceptance through to completion.

* A background as a Project Manager within the power distribution, DNO, HV (11kV, 33kV), utilities, or electrical industries.

* Proficiency in LV and HV systems, with experience up to 11kV or 33kV (Connections).

* A strong understanding of street works and traffic management.

* A full UK driving licence.

* Qualifications such as SMSTS or Prince2/APM.

* First Aid certification.
