Nursery Practitioner

We are working with an independent children’s day nursery who are currently looking for a Nursery Practitioner for their nursery setting in New Malden.

The successful candidate will need to hold a level 2/3, NVQ, CACHE or recognised equivalent childcare qualification, you will also ideally have a minimum of 6 months nursery setting experience, being able to demonstrate a sound understanding of both the EYFS framework and key worker practices.

Nursery Practitioner - Position Details

Your role will include:

* Supporting and extending children’s learning, development and educational outcomes

* Organising and overseeing the planning, implementation and provision of activities

* Carrying out observations and evaluations

* Planning and providing next steps to support children’s development

What you will need:

* A level 2 or level 3 Nursery Nurse / Early Years Practitioners

* An understanding of the EYFS and key worker systems

* An understanding of planning, observing and record-keeping procedures

* Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
