We currently have several opportunities for hardworking groundworkers and general operatives to join our energy team. The successful candidate may work on various sites, across this project, assisting our skilled teams, and contributing to the successful completion of our projects.

The Nitty-Gritty
As a Ground Worker / General Operative, you'll be working within our energy division where you will be part of a large network of skilled specialists in this sector, gaining valuable skills to help propel your career at Murphy, supporting them in safely delivering one of our prestigious energy projects.

Your day to day will include:
Carry out groundwork activities in alignment with project specifications and deadlines.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to achieve project objectives.

What we need from you:.

Relevant tickets to carry out the role.
CSCS
CPCS/Npors
National Grid Substation ticket
Proven experience in groundwork with a focus on power / energy projects
Proficient operation of relevant heavy machinery and equipment.
In-depth knowledge of safety protocols and regulations
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
